Direct Lines for Canadian Commercial Clients

The fastest path to a resolution depends on the nature of your request. The ScotiaConnect Service Centre at 1-800-267-7220 handles the full range of commercial support — sign-in issues, payment queries, reporting questions, user administration, treasury and general navigation. The menu tree routes callers to a specialised desk within 30 seconds. Peak-hour volumes are typically 9:00-10:30am ET and 1:00-2:30pm ET; calling outside these windows reduces hold time.

For active wires already in flight, select option 2 at the main menu to reach the 24/5 Wire & FX Desk. This is the team positioned to read the SWIFT MT103, contact the correspondent bank and co-ordinate with Payments Canada Lynx for high-value investigations. Keep your wire reference, originator, beneficiary, amount and value date on hand for the fastest resolution.

International and Multilingual Support

Clients travelling or based outside Canada and the United States should use +1-416-701-7351. The Toronto switchboard routes international calls into the commercial support queue without the domestic toll-free routing overhead. French-language service is available on the main line throughout business hours — a standard accommodation for clients in Quebec and New Brunswick. Spanish and Portuguese support is provided for Pacific Alliance corporate clients with significant Mexican, Chilean, Peruvian, Colombian or Brazilian exposure; ask for the Pacific Alliance desk when prompted.

Email Channels

Route email by topic so the right team handles your request on first touch. support@scotiaconnect.at is the general support inbox. phishing@scotiaconnect.at is for reporting suspicious emails or text messages; forward the full message with headers intact. accessibility@scotiaconnect.at supports accommodation requests. relationshipmanagement@scotiaconnect.at handles Relationship Manager assignments. privacy@scotiaconnect.at responds to PIPEDA personal-information requests. Sensitive items should use the authenticated message centre inside ScotiaConnect rather than public email.

Escalation and Ombudsman

Concerns that remain unresolved after speaking with a Service Centre advisor escalate to a team lead, then to your Relationship Manager, and then to the Commercial Banking District Director. The Scotiabank Customer Complaints Appeals Office is the internal final stage. External recourse is available through the Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments and the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada. Payment-system disputes involving Lynx or the AFT are governed by Payments Canada Rules.

Relationship Managers

Every ScotiaConnect client above a defined revenue threshold is assigned a named Relationship Manager — the single accountable point of contact for credit facilities, treasury structuring, cross-border expansion and escalations. RMs are organised by District (BC, Prairies, Ontario Central, Ontario West, Ontario East, Quebec, Atlantic) and by industry specialty (agribusiness, resources, manufacturing, technology, healthcare, real estate, public sector). For strategic advisory on cross-border and Pacific Alliance topics, see our Senior Treasury Solutions Specialist profile.
